Wood brings warmth into the system. It carries grain, age, scent, and the human feeling of touch over time.

Prayer Flag Cord

The cords used throughout LHARI jewelry are hand-braided with threads sourced from Tibetan prayer flags. Once carried by the wind, these threads continue their journey as part of a wearable talisman — preserving a connection between prayer, memory, and the hands that create each piece.

Stone

Dzi beads
Banded, eye-patterned beads carried across the Himalaya for centuries. Each piece’s page names the exact bead it uses.
Jadeite
Dense, cool jade with a glassy lustre, chosen for depth of colour.
Xiuyan jade
A soft green, translucent jade from Xiuyan, carved and polished by hand.
Hetian jade
Nephrite known for its even, oily lustre and quiet weight in the hand.
Lapis lazuli
Deep blue stone flecked with golden pyrite, long used in Himalayan art and ornament.
Natural crystal
Clear and coloured quartz, chosen for the way it holds light.
Agate
Banded chalcedony in warm reds, browns and creams.

Sterling silver for charms, caps and pendants meant to be worn every day.
Brass
A warm golden alloy that deepens in tone as it is worn.
White copper
A silver-toned copper-nickel alloy from traditional Himalayan metalwork. It contains nickel; ask us which pieces use it if you are sensitive.

Bone

Ox bone
Carved and polished by hand into light, ivory-toned beads.
Camel bone
Dense, creamy bone that takes fine carving and softens with wear.
